Day 1
Ajaccio → Cargèse
Begin in Ajaccio, Corsica’s historic capital and birthplace of Napoleon, where pastel-painted façades and fortified citadel walls hint at a storied past. As you sail west to Cargèse, the scent of maquis‑shrubland drifts across the deck. Cargèse is unique in Corsica for its twin churches: one built in the Latin (Catholic) tradition, the other in the Greek‑Byzantine rite, facing each other on a hill overlooking the sea. Spend the afternoon exploring both sacred sites, and later cool off with a swim in the sheltered cove below.
Experience Highlights:
- Scenic coastal sailing past fragrant maquis
- Afternoon explore Cargèse’s twin churches (Greek & Latin)
- Evening onboard dinner with Corsican wine
